What's the Big Island of Hawaii known for

The Big Island Basics.

Just a hop, skip, and jump over the Pacific Ocean lies breathtaking luscious landscapes and ocean views.

Surrounded by hundreds of miles of coastline for swimmers, snorkelers, and surfers. The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has ever changing landscapes for the stargazers and hikers. The west side of the island is home to Kona which is best known for sunny weather, manta ray night dives, and whale watching. On the east side, Hilo, has lush rainforest hikes, cascading waterfalls (e.g. the Rainbow falls & the ‘Akaka falls), hot springs, and easily accessible red-hot flowing lava.

If you have time (two whole days) drive around the whole island to see the difference in the landscapes and climate of all the regions.
