Ahhh what a surprise
I followed Taylor and Marcus along as we explored Yosemite Valley on a super hot summer day. We laughed, sweat, and basked in the sunbeams. Little did Taylor know that Marcus had a surprise...up his pant leg. Haha, yes he stuck a tiny box it in his ankle boot. He was sweating more than the rest of us, so anxious to pop the question to his lover. I was actually in on the secret from the get-go, and Marcus and I even came up with a code word he would say when he was ready to pop the question. Code word: Watermelon. Haha, it was definitely creative.
So we pranced around taking photos as I awaited the moment Marcus would use 'watermelon' in a sentence, but it never came. Instead he couldn't wait any longer and when Taylor did a spin he got down on one knee and when she turned around her face was in shock.
She happy screamed and the rest of the day she couldn't stop smiling. I can't imagine how badly their cheeks hurt after smiling for pictures then smiling for-realsies all day long.
It was the sweetest surprise! Proposals get me in the FEELS every time!
